Veľká Homoľa Observation Tower
The observation tower at Veľká Homoľa has been constructed in 2001 and it takes a cca 2,5 hour walk from Modra town center to reach its summit. The tower is 20 meter high and offers a 360° panoramatic view of Malé Karpaty, Považský Inovec and Tríbeč mountains and also lowlands of Podunajská nížina. In a perfect weather you could also see Austrian Alps. You can either reach Veľká Homoľa by following the red trail from Zochova Chata bus stop, or by following the blue trail from Modra, or you could follow the red trail from Pezinok (and then follow the green trail).
